The course was first built in 2003 by Tristan Wall, a member from the Boy Scout troop, for his Eagle Scout project. Ryan Burcham, another member of the Boy Scout troop, built the coffee shed that same year for his Eagle Scout project to serve as the start and end point for the course, along with supporting the coffee ministry.
