The course was first built in 2013 by Tristan Wall, a member of Boy Scouts, for his Eagle Scout project. Ryan Burcham, another member of the Boy Scout troop, built the coffee shed that same year for his Eagle Scout project to serve as the start and end point for the course, along with supporting the coffee ministry.
