Age-Led Ministries

Hannah Collins
Director of Children's Ministries
Hannah and her husband, Matthew, have been members of Central since 2019. After welcoming their first son, Hudson, in 2020, Hannah wanted to continue to work with children closer to her home in Lenoir City and felt the Children’s ministry of this church is exactly where she was meant to be.
Hannah has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She taught fourth and second grade for five years in Anderson County.
Her favorite thing to do is read a good book outside.

Michelle Garcia
Director of Student Ministries
Michelle has been a member since 1999 and is honored and excited to share God's love to the youth of Central UMC. Her greatest desire is to help them know Christ and become His disciples by embracing who they are, engraining them with true value, enriching them with teachings from the Bible, empowering them to live godly lives and encouraging them to love God, love others and love self.
Michelle has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of West Florida, along with seven years of experience as an Instructional Aide in Special Education, and a year and a half of experience as a Preschool Aide at Clubhouse Central. Michelle also has seven years experience as either a Sunday School teacher or Assistant, two years experience as a youth leader at Central UMC, and has served for four months as the Chair of the Central Students Leadership Team.
Michelle loves working as Central UMC's Youth Director but when she is not working, she enjoys playing games with her husband, Sam, and daughter, Callie, playing outside with their dog, Lucy, studying the Bible and reading Christian literature, gardening, swing dancing, and photography.
