During a phone conversation I had with a member of Central last week the person said, “I miss my church.” “I didn’t realize how important it was to me.” After our call, I thought about her comment of missing her church.

When I write these devotions, my normal pattern is to ask God to give me something to say, a scripture to share. God has been faithful to do that. Today’s verse that God put on my heart was from Isaiah 30:15
We’ve been following Jesus’ last week on earth. We come now to his last day on earth. A day filled with deceit, betrayal and unspeakable pain and suffering. What Jesus went through on that Friday is inconceivable.
