Uncertainty. It is a word that we do not like very much. We prefer certainty yet we are living in uncertain times. How do we live a time of uncertainty?

During a phone conversation I had with a member of Central last week the person said, “I miss my church.” “I didn’t realize how important it was to me.” After our call, I thought about her comment of missing her church.

Last night I watched the movie 1917. It was a film that made you feel like you were there during WWI. There were some heart wrenching scenes.

When I write these devotions, my normal pattern is to ask God to give me something to say, a scripture to share. God has been faithful to do that. Today’s verse that God put on my heart was from Isaiah 30:15
