Welcome Evan Nester!
Our staff parish team is excited to welcome Evan Nester to Central UMC as the Director of Student Ministries!
Evan is from Hillsville, Virginia where he has served as the children’s ministry director at Out Of The Box UMC. Under Evan’s leadership, the children ministry has grown significantly. He is a recent graduate of Liberty University majoring in Biblical studies and is currently a part time student at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is passionate about the Bible and the gospel engaging with the world. In his free time, Evan is an avid hiker and serves as the chaplain for the local football team. He is recently engaged to Miss Courtney Cox.
Evan’s first Sunday at Central will be Oct 8th.
