Showing Some Love for East Knoxville

Each January, our United Methodist Women have lead the way in a food drive for Good Samaritan to help hungry folks in Loudon County.  After finding out Good Samaritan is in a good position right now with food, we became aware of a church in East Knoxville (Lemmon-Senney UMC) that began a new food ministry to reach out to their local area with the love of Jesus. Each 2nd and 4th Tuesday, they are offering food, hygiene, and other items.

We invite you on Sunday, February 7th and 14th as well as during the week (9am-1pm) to drop off items at the church to help them with their outreach ministry.  This not only supports our UMC connection; it also supports our African American brothers and sisters in Christ.  If you would rather make a monentary donation for this ministry, please identify it on your contribution.
