When most people think about the book of Jonah, they think about a children’s story. Well strap in, because this study is designed to prove all those assumptions wrong!
In The Epic of Eden: Jonah, Dr. Sandra Richter takes us on a journey through Jonah’s life that leads us all to the place where we realize that our God is way bigger than we thought. Growing at Home: A Beginners Guide to Family Discipleship
Group Leader: Evan Nester
Length: 5 Weeks on Zoom
Begins: January 27 6:30pm
Cost: $10 for book
Perhaps you’re new to the idea of family discipleship. It’s simple, really. Family discipleship is when parents help their children become disciples of Jesus Christ in the home through reading the Bible, praying, worshiping, and doing missions together. It starts in our marriages, by loving our spouses with the love of Christ. It happens by teaching, loving, and sharing our faith with our children.
There will be a zoom session for parents on January 6 at 6:30pm to listen how we can better serve your family in 2021. Email Evan for the zoom link and to sign up for the small group. Based on that discussion on January 6, Evan will set the time to meet for the group.
