The Story of Us:
Rediscovering Who We are as the People of God
January 10 - February 21
During this time of disorientation, we have had to change the way we meet, the way we worship, the way to do ministry. Some are wondering how this pandemic is shaping the church. We need to rediscover who we are as the people of God.
During this 7 week message series, Pastor Scott will be reminding us of the story of God and the story of us - perhaps a story we have yet to hear.
February 7: Crown
February 14: Christ
February 21: Church
Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 PM
Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent where we confront our own mortality and confess our sins before God within the community of faith. We have been living in a season of darkness. For this year's service, we will seek to emphasize hope in the midst of darkness.
Instead of ashes this year, we are focusing on the phrase, "Earth to Earth". Therefore, we will have individual bags of earth that will be used as part of the service. If you will be participating online, you can pick them up at the church on Sunday, February 14th or from 9am-1pm February 15th-17th. If you will be in-person, they will be provide for you when you arrive.
Beginning February 28th...
