I had the good fortune to be raised in a Christian
home. My love for the piano started when I was five
and began to take lessons. My position at the church
is on keyboard for our contemporary service and piano
(and sometimes organ) for our traditional service.
Of course, other jobs come with the position - such
as playing for soloists, weddings, and funerals. I
am also active in our hand bell ministry. All this
keeps me very busy - but this is only a part-time job!
I
graduated from Carson-Newman College with a degree
in accounting
and work in my family’s business.
Outside of music, I enjoy time spent with my family,
cross-stitching, and tatting.
I have always stressed to my children the importance
of God in their lives. It is very important to be actively
involved in church where we grow in our faith. I consider
the members of my church family an extended family.
The people in our church make it the friendliest church
in town. We are blessed with both a wonderful minister,
assistant ministers, and staff.
I invite you to attend church with us where you can
feel the love of God working through His people.
